Orginal Studio
A glorified three car garage built in 1971, nestled away in a wooded side lot in Prince Georges County, lurks a sanctuary; a work space littered with trinkets, history, and textile supplies. Formally my grandfather's welding shop until his death in 1994, it remained abandoned for storage for 18 years. After graduating from California College of the Arts in 2012, I set out to reclaim the area. After three years of hard work, creating various works in fiber, I moved to work in Austin, TX in 2016.
